Callaway Lodge was first conceived by R:.W:. Zollie W. Young, who, with Twenty-eight Brother Master Masons hailing from several Lodges far and near, met at the Callaway Community Building for the purpose of establishing a Masonic Lodge in Callaway. The meeting was conducted by R:.W:. Young assisted by The District Deputy Grand Master of the 4^th Masonic District, R:.W:. Myron Clark.

A Brief History...

Callaway Lodge was set to work on July 22, 1969 under dispensation by M:.W:. Carvie B. Webb, Grand Master of Masons of the State of Florida. The District Deputy, Callaway being in the 4^th Masonic District at the Time, was R:.W:. Myron Clark.

On April 30^th, 1970 M:.W:. David H. Wilkerson granted the Lodge its Charter. On May 23^rd of that same year, Past Grand Master G. Rodman Porter presented the Charter to the Lodge.

On January 15^th, 1974 the Lodge Membership voted to be Annexed into the City of Callaway.

On April 4^th, 1981 The Laying of the Cornerstone Ceremony was conducted by The Grand Master of Masons of the State of Florida, M:.W:. Pierce Blitch.
